I do recommend that people do not NOT use the remove command, but if they do, at least now we have workaround.

I fired up a copy of Virtual PC, and did some test installs into that as Iĭid NOT want to un-install or mess with my production box. Thanks for the follow up and it funny, but I just found this key about 10 minutes ago. That the Package Solution is selected to be installed. I even tried to uninstall Office 2010 and then re-install it, making sure The puzzle is that the Package Solution was enabled originally and I used it a few times, and then it became disabled for some reason and then completely disappeared. There is anĪdd button in this section, but where is the Package Solution located on my computer? How do I find it so I can add it to the Add-In Manager?
And then it disappeared from the Disabled Add-ins list. I did find the Package Solution listed under Disabled Add-ins in the Combo Box, but when I selected it and pressed Enable, it was not enabled. I followed the previous post and clicked on the Combo Box and then pressed the Go button, but I don't seeĪnything listed on the next screen. When I go toįile>Options>Add-ins, I do not see the Package Solution listed anywhere, and I don't see the Developer Extensions either. There are a good number of articles on how to create a self signed certificate, but I've not had the requirement nor need to have done this in the Even when I run access as an administrator, I find is asking me for a digital certificate when I attempt to package However, I am at a loss here to give you a solution. In other words I don't use the package wizard at all. In fact this is pretty much the way I been using and deploying my applications with runtime for the last few versions of Access. If you set macro security to low then you don't even have to digitally sign it, you don'tĮven have to place it in a trusted location, and virtually any application copy to the machine when clicked on should run without any fuss or nag props. Now to be fair, you can always just simply install the runtime application. I do not recall this was a requirement in 2007. Right now the way I see the option, there's no way to create a package without signing it. In the past we could package an application, but there was not a requirement to digitally sign it. When I look at the option in back stage, something has changed here.
